This is for my PEEPS.  Okay FAM. Capitalize on the opportunities presented before you.

Another Educational Announcement.

Harvard Announces Free Tuition

Harvard Announces Free Tuition for Families Making Less than 40K

This is a great opportunity for bright, talented students from low and
moderate income families.  Please distribute this information to teachers, counselors, parents, family advocates, and others. If you know of a family earning less than $40,000 a year with an honor student graduating from high school soon, Harvard University wants to pay the tuition. The prestigious university recently announced that from now on, undergraduate students from low-income families can go to Harvard for free...no tuition and no student loans!

To find out more about Harvard offering free tuition for families making less than $40,000 a year, visit Harvard's financial aid web site at: The announcement is on the front page.

or call the school's financial aid office at (617)495-1581.

Many people will not read below this line, but for those who do may you be blessed, and if not, then may you bless someone else.  Knowledge is Power.  Just place your cursor right underneath each of the scholarships, left click and it will take you to the web site.

AFRICAN AMERICAN STUDENTS ARE NOT APPLYING FOR SCHOLARSHIPS!

 PARENTS, HEADS UP!

Even if you do not have a college-aged child at home, please share this with someone who does, pass this scholarship information on to anyone and everyone that comes to mind. Though there are a number of companies and organizations that have donated moneys for scholarship use to African Americans, a great deal of the money is being returned because of a lack of interest.

No one is going to knock on our doors and ask if we can use a scholarship. Take the initiative to get your children involved. There is no need for money to be returned to donating companies because we fail to apply for it. Please pass this information on to family members, nieces, nephews, friends with children etc. We must get the word out that money is available. If you are a college student or getting ready to become one, you probably already know how useful additional money can be. Our youth really could use these scholarships. Thanks!!

What does Christmas Mean To You?

Often time’s people forget about the real meaning of Christmas, and they spend money on people who they half know, only for that person to give that to someone else.  Let’s face it.  At some time or another we have all been guilty of giving a gift that was given to us, only for us give the same gift to someone else.  I am probably dating myself a bit, but let’s begin with the “Old Fruitcake” that has been passed on from one generation to the next.  No body ever ate that cake, but it sure got passed around a lot.  Hahahahaha (lol)

Interesting thought huh?

“Twas The Night Jesus Came”

Twas the night Jesus came and all through the

house, not a person was praying, not one in the house...

The Bible was left on the shelf without care,

for no one thought Jesus would come there...

The children were dressing to crawl into bed,

not once ever kneeling or  bowing their head...

And Mom in the rocking chair with babe on her lap,

was watching the Late Show as I took a nap...

When out of the east there rose such a clatter,

I sprang to my feet to see what was the matter...

Away to the window I flew like a flash,

tore open the shutters and lifted the sash...

When what to my wondering eyes should appear,

but Angels proclaiming  that Jesus was here...

The light of His face made me cover my head,

it was Jesus returning just like He'd said...

And though I possess worldly wisdom and wealth,

I cried when I saw Him in spite of myself...

In the Book of Life which he held in his hand,

was written the name of every saved man...

He spoke not a word as he searched for my name,

when He said "it's not here," my head hung in

shame...

The people whose names had been written with love,

He gathered to take to his Father above...

With those who were ready He rose without sound,

while all of the others were left standing  around...

I fell to my knees but it was too late,

I'd waited too long and thus sealed my fate...

I stood and I cried as they rose out of sight,

Oh,if only I'd known that this was the night...

In the words of this poem the meaning is clear

the coming of Jesus is now drawing near...

There's only one life and when comes the last call,

We'll find out that the Bible was true after all...
